Emily Wood

I'm a certified Pilates instructor with an educational background in biological sciences, kinesiology, allied health, and natural sciences. My path into Pilates has been shaped by both education and personal experience, giving me a strong sense of body awareness and a trained eye for identifying movement patterns and imbalances.

 

Rooted in the belief that the body communicates through movement, I have navigated my own journey with spinal misalignment and recovery. Along the way, I developed a deeper understanding of how alignment, stability, and intentional movement can restore strength and function.

My classes focus on building a strong foundation through proper alignment, controlled strength, and mindful progression.  With an attentive eye and grounded presence, I create a supportive environment where clients feel both safe and challenged. 

​

I am passionate about helping clients move better, feel stronger, and develop a deeper connection to their bodies, both in the studio and in everyday life.
